My work as the Board Representative for Politics and Business centres on developing and promoting political relations and economic, cultural and scientific cooperation.
This involves obtaining information, reporting on matters and preparing decisions that are relevant to 3ship.cruises, as well as assisting with activities in the respective host countries.
Together with the other UN member states, Germany has called for the 2030 Agenda and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals to be roadmaps for the next 10 years in the declaration on the 75th anniversary of the World Organisation.
The German Sustainable Development Strategy includes a commitment to international responsibility and cooperation. It will be implemented not only in Germany but also within and through Germany.
The Citizens‘ Assembly’s report to the German Bundestag emphasises the need to promote sustainability as a global cross-sectional task and to place it at the centre of political action.
It will be a challenge to understand and live sustainability in this way. The aim is to sensitise decision-makers in politics, business, society and science to the 3Ship.Lloyd.Cruises project and to anchor it as an example of best practice.
